The Secret to Happiness

The secret to happiness.

Happiness is something that we all seek but not all find. Yet what defines happiness differs from person to person. When we refer to true happiness, are we referring to how we feel in the present moment or a general sense of how we feel?

We define happiness in the context of mental or emotional states, which are positive or pleasant emotions ranging from contentment to intense joy. Other forms include life satisfaction, well-being, subjective well-being, flourishing and eudaimonia.

But to be happy, we require these three components.

Health

Harmony

Prosperity

My understanding of health is living free of pain, illness or disease.

By harmony, I live in a state free from strife or conflict. And Prosperity is to live free of poverty and financial worries.

I see it as my inheritance, do you? If I lack in all three or any of these gifts, I am not in alignment with my natural state of being.

What beliefs are we holding on to deny me these? Am I willing to address it?

Without the above, happiness is elusive.
