Carrying people has been a pattern and behaviour I have enacted for most of my life. I truly believed that my value was proportionate to my usefulness and that by carrying I had value, worth and a place in this world. To me if I carried others only, then would I be lovable and would therefore not be abandoned. Now I see it as something completely different. I see it in a very different light. In truth it was a clever tool I used to control the people and situations in life. THE PRISON OF PERFECTION

The prison of perfection, is it  fool's gold?  The definition of perfection: ‘the action or process of improving something until it is faultless.’ Our culture is now obsessed with perfection, looking perfect, acting perfect, being perfect. The Instagram and selfie generation of documenting our flawless lives. We are walking down a dead end road that just leads us away from our authentic path and who we really are. I believe that perfection is stagnation, a dead vibration that is without substance and hollow. DOES POWER CORRUPT?

Is it power that corrupts or a lack of responsibility?  You may have heard the quote:  ‘Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men, even when they exercise influence and not authority: still more when you super add the tendency or the certainty of corruption by authority.’ John Emerich Edward Dalberg-Acton, 1st Baron Acton.   This quote never sat easily with me.  Does it then imply that as a person's power increases, their moral sense diminishes?    When I observe my own life and experiences and look at our national and world leaders, be they religious, political, business, financial, health or…
