My intention for you is to be self reliant and to dissolve the powerlessness around health and happiness you may currently feel. In order to do this you must take your power back to yourself with the tools I will give you. As a result you will have no need for others to ‘fix you’ or indeed feel the need to ‘fix others.

We now live in a society that honours the Servant but has forgotten the Gift. This gift of INSTINCT is key and central to making healthy decisions.The rational mind alone is incomplete and often misleading. What use is a map without a compass?
To access our INTUITION we must relearn and remember the language of the BODY. This ultimately means taking responsibility for our emotions. Our emotional well being and our awareness of it has a direct effect on our physical and mental health.
RESPONSIBILITY: ‘Having a duty to deal with something OR having control over someone’
The dictionary points to this choice that lies within us. Be responsible for ourselves OR control others.
In my work RESPONSE-ABILITY relates to:
- The ability to recognise and own your emotions and respond by FEELING your emotions in the body, not the mind.
- The ability to identify which emotions belong to you and which emotions belong to other people.

When asked what surprised him about humanity the most, the Dalai Lama replied: “Man. Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived.”
INSTINCT & INTUITION
The more intellectual and logical society becomes, the more we disconnect from our bodies. A movement away from feeling in favour of detachment. Globally most people are seeking endless ways to DULL what they are feeling or PROJECT their emotions onto others. Anything to avoid sitting with what is RISING within them to be heard.
Physical pain, excessive anger, depression, any extreme emotions or illogical behaviour, these are direct lines to our INSTINCT. All of these are usually treated with medication, alcohol, overworking, overachieving or living through our phones or TV. A choice to be NUMB or BUSY rather facing what we are avoiding. Our society has become obsessed with FIXING rather than HEALING.

When we rush we are not fully present, losing car keys, dropping things. If our life is a constant rush to do, see, get to, achieve, then we are living from a place of chaos. Half of you will always be living in the future never able to enjoy the present.
‘If you are depressed you are living in the past, if you are anxious or afraid you are living in the future, if you are content you are living right here in the present.’ (Buddhist proverb)
In chaos, we are vulnerable to the emotional state of those around us and the world at large. What if I told you that MOST OF THE EMOTIONS YOU FEEL ARE NOT YOURS. When we are out of our centre we lose our natural ability to read and feel others emotions and instead assume them to be ours. Thus adding to chaos. This INTUITION or INSTINCT is not some superpower but rather every human’s natural state. To access our intuition we must relearn and remember the language of the BODY. This ultimately means taking RESPONSIBILTY for our EMOTIONS. Our emotional well being and awareness of it has a direct effect on our physical and mental health.
